We generate electricity from renewable sources only, to impact climate change in a positive way and ensure wide access to clean energy. As an Energy Trading Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing energy market data, developing forecasts and models, preparing analytical reports, and supporting the Company’s trading and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze energy market data, including supply, demand, pricing, and regulatory changes, to identify trends and forecast future conditions;
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate the economic viability of energy projects, investments, and policy decisions;
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing energy market insights, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations for internal stakeholders;
• Monitor global events and their potential impact on energy commodity prices and supply chain stability;
• Assess the performance of existing energy assets and portfolios, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost reduction;

Qualifications and skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred;
• Experienced in Python and Excel; 
• Has deep understanding in forecasting trends within the energy sector;
• Capable of analyzing a wide array of data related to energy production, consumption, pricing regulation, and global factors to provide strategic insights; 
• Strong proficiency in data analysis software and computer modelling programs - competent user of statistical analysis software for complex data manipulation and predictive modelling, alongside dedicated energy market simulation tools;
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
